| The
Pye Bridge site, which is located near Alfreton
in Derbyshire, commenced operation in June
of 1999.
The
site consists of three Wartsila reciprocating
gas engines producing 9MW's of electricity
into the local grid.
The
site is connected into the local Transco
supply network which provides the primary
fuel supply. Together with gas produced
from Warwick Energy's nearby Ironville field.
The Ironville field was developed by Warwick Energy
in 2001 and a pipeline laid to connect
the two sites.
Warwick
Energy owns and operates a number of other
generation sites throughout the UK.
