Warwick Energy is currently developing 2 offshore wind farms. The Thanet project is located approximately 11 km to the east of Margate, Kent and the Dudgeon project lies 30 km North of Cromer Norfolk. Each development could generate up to 300 MW.
Warwick Energy has previously successfully developed the smaller Barrow project before selling the scheme to a consortium of European energy companies in September 2003.
The Barrow scheme comprises 30 wind turbines. Development consent was granted in March 2003. and the 90 MW became fully operational in 2006.
